Core is an established New Zealand based investment company. Since 2003 we have successfully invested in many medium sized companies in the Asia Pacific region. Core invests in leading, mid-sized growth companies that have the potential to be future leaders in their market segment. It invests in established companies that offer a clear and sustainable competitive advantage. We are active and supportive investors, partnering with owners and management to define the vision, planning and execution of the company's strategic direction.
Core also operates a proprietary trading room and is active in all asset classes including equities, bonds, commodities, foreign exchange, options, and futures. We have grown from a small group of 3 individuals in 2003 to a team of professionals working in technology, research, quantitative and trading roles. Core operates a 24hr proprietary trading room.
We utilise our own capital to participate in all key markets with liquidity. We are committed to an approach that is steeped in discipline, sound risk management, and collaborative culture. We pride ourselves on our ability to continually gain high returns through speculative activities on the Forex, Equity and Futures markets. Our investment and trading fund focuses on global macro trading opportunities, hence our trading portfolio is regularly exposed to global currencies.
MEZZANINE FINANCE
THE MODERN WAY TO FUND GROWTH
Core provides mezzanine and equity financing to private equity buyout investors, management led transactions and companies in need of development financing or debt restructuring solutions. Core works with businesses to develop capital solutions tailored around specific requirements. For over 15 years we have been structuring bespoke solutions that can include senior and sub-ordinated debt, as well as equity and a breadth of investment solutions to meet refinancing or acquisition objectives.
